Karl Tragl

Karl Tragl serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Wacker Neuson SE since June 2021, leading a global network of approximately 5,500 employees. Previously, Karl held the role of Chief Executive Officer at Diehl Group from May 2018 to December 2020, overseeing operations in over 80 locations and managing a workforce of 16,400. Karl's experience includes serving as Group President of Engineered Products and Solutions at Arconic and President of the Executive Board at Bosch Rexroth, where responsibilities encompassed global sales and various business units. Earlier career roles include managing director at Siemens and research engineer at DLR. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, a Diplom-Ingenieur in Physics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, and completion of general management programs at Carnegie Mellon University and Duke University.
