Jackson Griggs has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Jackson started working in 2013 as an Associate Director and Faculty Member at McLennan County Medical Education and Research Foundation | Waco Family Medicine Residency Program. In 2016, they joined Heart of Texas Community Health Center as a Director of Health Integration and held the role until 2019. In the same year, Jackson became the Chief Executive Officer at Waco Family Medicine and also took on the position of Chair at McLennan County Medical Education & Research Foundation.

Jackson Griggs has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from Abilene Christian University, which they obtained from 1995 to 1999. Jackson then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) from 1999 to 2003. Throughout their career, they have obtained various additional certifications and positions. Some notable certifications include Board Certification from The American Board of Family Medicine in 2006, and a Full Texas Medical License from the State of Texas Medical Board in 2005.
