Scherrie Jones

Scherrie Jones is an experienced educator currently serving as the Elementary Curriculum and Instructional Specialist at Waco ISD since July 2019, where responsibilities include coordinating the campus assessment program and overseeing the development of core subject assessments to enhance student achievement. Prior to this role, Scherrie held positions as an English Teacher at Newman International Academy of Arlington from August 2015 to September 2018 and as an Elementary School Teacher at Voices of Influence from 2009 to 2015. Earlier in Scherrie's career, an Executive Assistant role was filled at Academy of Dallas Charter School from 2007 to 2009. Scherrie Jones holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Dillard University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University.
