Rohit Nayyar has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Rohit has held various roles in different companies across sectors such as finance, operations, and management. Their most recent position was as the Chief Financial Officer at Wadhwani Foundation, which they started in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at CARE India as the Chief Financial Officer, where they were responsible for driving long-term financial viability, managing a diverse portfolio of projects, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Rohit Nayyar's education history begins in 1981 when they attended Delhi Public School - Mathura Road and studied commerce. After completing their primary education, they enrolled in Shri Ram College of Commerce from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree with a focus on accounts. During the same period, from 1994 to 1997, Rohit pursued further education at both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Rohit earned a Chartered Accountant degree from the former and a Company Secretary degree from the latter. Additionally, in 2010, Rohit attended ISACA and completed a program in Information Security, earning a CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) credential.
