Ed Johnetta Miller

Ed Johnetta Miller is an accomplished international quilt designer, teacher, author, design consultant, workshop leader, and motivational speaker, currently serving as the owner of Joisha Design Group since January 2016. In addition, Ed Johnetta Miller holds the position of Artistic Director for OPUS, Inc. at Black Threads Press, where efforts focus on integrating arts programming in Connecticut schools. This includes initiatives like quilting projects with students at Breakthrough Magnet School and other institutions. As a Visiting Artist at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, Ed Johnetta Miller developed a textile studio for middle school students and contributed to the International Peace Quilt Project in the UK. Previous experience includes a role as a Visiting Artist at Rivier College. Ed Johnetta Miller's educational background includes studies at the Education Center for Human Development and Bryant University.
