Steve Gerich

Steve Gerich is the Protection Services Supervisor at Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art. Steve has over 25 years of experience in security and safety, including facility surveillance systems and access control.

Steve began their career in security in April 1985 with Aetna, where they served as a security teamleader. In this role, they were responsible for providing security and safety, as well as overseeing the communication and control room operations. Steve also oversaw the hazardous material and environmental protection for the company.

In September 1990, Steve left Aetna to join the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art. In their current role as Protection Services Supervisor, they are responsible for the safety and security of the museum and its visitors. Steve also oversees the surveillance system and access control for the museum.
