Akiva Romanoff

Akiva Romanoff has extensive work experience in the legal field. Akiva currently holds the position of Vice President in the legal department at Wafra, a role they started in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as Counsel at Fortress Investment Group from April 2017 to February 2022. Before that, they served as a Staff Attorney at Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP from May 2011 to April 2017. Additionally, they have held various legal and compliance roles at Lyxor Asset Management, Africa Israel USA, and New York Legal Assistance Group. Akiva also has experience as a Summer Associate at Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner LLP and as a Legal/Compliance Intern at Lazard Asset Management. Akiva began their career as a Financial Analyst at IDT and then worked as a Research Assistant at Smith Barney.

Akiva Romanoff obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Yeshiva University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Akiva then pursued further education at Cardozo School of Law from 2006 to 2009, earning a Juris Doctor (JD) degree with a focus on Tax and Corporate Law.
