Johann Portmann

Johann Portmann is an experienced professional in alternative investments and private equity, currently working at Wafra since October 2021. Prior to this, Johann worked as an Investment Management Analyst at Rialto Capital from July 2020 to September 2021, focusing on CMBS analysis. Johann has also served as a Teaching Assistant for Advanced Real Estate Investing and Analysis at The Wharton School in early 2020 and completed a summer analyst role at Resource America in mid-2019, specializing in real estate and credit liquid alternative investments. Earlier experience includes a research assistant position at The Wharton School's real estate department, where assistance was provided on a project related to campaign finance and housing policy. Johann holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Real Estate from The Wharton School, completed in 2020, and began education at Antigua State College from 2014 to 2016.
