Jack Vossen is a Scientist at Wageningen Plant Research, specializing in the molecular genetics of resistance to late blight in potato since October 2006. Previously, Jack Vossen served as a Post-Doc at Wageningen University from September 2003 to October 2006, focusing on the identification of signaling components from tomato essential for Cf-4 mediated resistance. Before that, Jack Vossen conducted molecular analysis of the interaction between tomato and Fusarium oxysporum during a Post-Doc position at the University of Amsterdam from May 1997 to August 2003. Jack Vossen holds a Doctorate in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Amsterdam and a Drs degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Radboud University.
