Declan C.

Declan C. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Declan started their career as a Summer Intern in software testing at Nortel in 1998. In 2001, they worked as a Summer Intern in software engineering at Ion Technologies. Declan then joined TransLink in 2002 as a Summer Intern, where they gained experience in IT support and payroll maintenance.

In 2003, Declan joined Zeus Technology as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for designing, developing, and testing new features in Zeus' product portfolio. Declan also served as a Software Architect, where they were the technical lead for Zeus' ZXTM GLB product.

Declan continued their journey by working as a Software Architect at Riverbed Technology in 2011 and Atlassian in 2012, where they led the performance team. Declan then worked at Juniper Networks in 2013 as a Principal Engineer.

Declan's next role was at Amazon, starting in 2015, where they served as a Senior Software Development Engineer for four years. In 2019, they joined Umano as the Head of Data Engineering, contributing their expertise in that role.

Finally, in the same year, Declan assumed the position of Chief Technology Officer at wagetap, where they currently hold the role.

Declan C. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, where they studied from 2000 to 2003.
