Blythe Currie

Blythe Currie has a diverse work experience in the field of public relations and communications. Blythe is currently serving as an Account Lead - Tech at WE Communications since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director at ByDesign South Africa from February 2022 to June 2023. From October 2021 to June 2023, they worked as a Professional Freelancer at Publicis Groupe. Blythe also gained valuable experience at Edelman, where they worked as a Senior Consultant from August 2017 to October 2021. Before that, they served as a Strategic Business Director Consumer Business Group at Eclipse Public Relations from December 2016 to October 2021. Blythe also held positions at Joe Public, Jenni Newman Public Relations (JNPR), Jenni Newman Public Relations, Fleishman-Hillard, and The Mail Room PR, where they gained roles of increasing responsibility.

Blythe Currie attended Rosbank Mercey Convent from 1989 to 2003, where they completed their Matric. From 2004 to 2007, they studied Corporate Communications at the University of Johannesburg, specializing in Communications and Public Relations.
