Rey Silva

Rey Silva is an experienced communications professional currently serving as an Account Manager at WE Communications since November 2018, where support is provided to Microsoft's Developer & Ecosystem communications team, along with managing PR efforts related to startups, developer relations, and skilling. Rey also co-leads WE's LGBTQ+ and BIPOC employee resource groups to promote equitable representation within the workforce. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Account Executive and Account Executive at BOCA Communications, focusing on media campaigns and relationship building with industry reporters. Rey began a career in public relations at McGrath/Power Public Relations as an Account Assistant, assisting with various PR programs and content creation. Rey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from San Jose State University, completed in 2016.
