Pulkit Pokhara

Pulkit Pokhara has a strong background in procurement and commercial management. Pulkit currently holds the position of Vice President Commercial at Wagh Bakri Tea Group since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Unilever as a Senior Manager Procurement - Cereals from April 2020 to May 2022.

With a significant tenure at GSK Consumer Healthcare India, Pulkit held various roles such as Global Procurement Manager - Agro Commodity from November 2017 to March 2020, Regional Manager Procurement - Agro Commodity from July 2015 to October 2017, Dy Manager Procurement - New Product Innovation from November 2012 to June 2015, and Assistant Manager Procurement - RM Planning & Indirects Procurement from June 2010 to October 2012. In their Assistant Manager role, they were responsible for annual raw material forecasting, monthly material requirement planning, and sourcing of indirect materials.

Pulkit Pokhara began their career as a Management Trainee - Materials at Indian Farmers Fertiliser Coop Ltd. from June 2009 to May 2010. Pulkit'sresponsibilities included e-procurement and imports, development of in-house ERP MM module, inventory control and optimization, and reduction of non-moving and surplus inventory.

Pulkit also gained experience as a Process in Charge at ITC Limited from June 2005 to April 2006.

Pulkit Pokhara completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee from 2001 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (PGDIM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai from 2007 to 2009.
