Dirk Band

Dirk Band has a solid work experience history. Dirk is currently serving as the Director Sales Division at WAGNER Group GmbH since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director Business Unit Filtration at SAB Georg Schünemann GmbH from July 2020 to January 2022. In this role, they were responsible for the leadership of the business unit, including sales, proposal management, and engineering. Dirk successfully entered new international sales markets and made deals with new distribution partners. Dirk also redesigned the marketing image materials to enhance the company's online presence. From April 2015 to June 2020, Dirk was the Managing Director Sales & Business Development at LUEHR FILTER GmbH. Their responsibilities included coordinating international sales activities and driving the transition from an owner-driven to a management board-driven company. Prior to that, they held various roles at SPX Corporation from 2006 to 2015, including Director Sales & Proposal Engineering/Engineered Solutions, Director Sales & Proposal Management/Water Steam Cycle, Product and Sales Manager/Heat Exchangers, and Proposal and Sales Engineer/Feedwater heaters. Dirk's experience includes leadership positions and extensive work in sales, proposal management, engineering, and project management. Dirk also has a research background, having worked as a research student at BMW in 2005-2006.

Dirk Band attended Hochschule Hannover from 2002 to 2006, where they pursued a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
