Maddy holds an LL.M. with a specialization in international law from the University of Cambridge, a Juris Doctor from Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University, and a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Biochemistry and Biology from Dalhousie University, along with an earlier Bachelor of Science in Anatomy from McGill University.
