ABDULLAH SHAIKH

Abdullah Shaikh is currently working at Wahed as the Manager of Technology and Cybersecurity. ABDULLAH started in January 2023 and is still in this role. Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager of IT Security and Compliance at Yotta Data Services Private Limited starting in July 2022. ABDULLAH has also worked as a Manager of IT Security at Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited from March 2018 to June 2022. Before that, they were a Program Manager of IT Security and Compliance at Wipro Ltd. - India from August 2015 to December 2017. ABDULLAH started their career as a Team Leader of IT Security Operations at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in January 2013 and worked there until August 2015. ABDULLAH also has experience as an IT Security Analyst at APEX Virtual and Infra Solutions from July 2011 to January 2013 and as a Desktop Support Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from September 2010 to July 2011.

Abdullah Shaikh completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Computer Engineering from the same institution, from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Abdullah has also obtained several certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in March 2022, the ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from TÜV SÜD in February 2019, and another Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in March 2022.
