Zayan Yassin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2010, they worked as a Liaison Officer at the World Islamic Economic Forum Foundation for a brief period. Zayan then took on the role of Liaison Officer at the World Islamic Economic Forum in 2013, where they assisted a Senior Advisor in coordinating networking meetings and handling public relations.

In 2014, Zayan worked as an Analyst at TheiAgroup, where they facilitated discussions with top management and formulated strategic initiatives for a university. Zayan also conducted regression analysis on Sarawak's macro-economic structure.

From 2015 to 2019, Zayan held a Senior Associate position at ATA PLUS, where they played a key role in web portal system design and project management. Zayan also co-authored articles on equity crowdfunding and led fintech service and offerings in Malaysia.

In 2016, Zayan served as a Secretary at Blockchain Embassy Asia, followed by a position as CMO at Neuroware from 2017 to 2019. During this time, they gained experience in administrative tasks and overseeing marketing operations.

Starting in 2019, Zayan joined Wahed Inc. as a Strategy & Operations Manager for the Asia Pacific region. Their responsibilities included managing strategy and operations within the company.

Most recently, Zayan has been working at Wahed as a Senior Manager and later as Vice President of Business Operations since 2021.

Zayan Yassin completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science and Government from the International Islamic University Malaysia, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. Afterward, from 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Economic History at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
