Barry Doyle is a biomedical engineer with a BEng and PhD in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on cardiovascular bioengineering. In 2014, they founded VascLab, an interdisciplinary research team at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research and the University of Western Australia, where they develop medical devices and treatment methods. Barry has published around 200 scientific articles, co-authored a widely-used textbook, and has received over 55 awards. Currently serving as an Adjunct Associate Professor at UWA, Barry also co-founded Flomatrix and Navier Medical, both of which are dedicated to innovative medical solutions.
