Sean Wyngaard has been working in the digital industry since 2003. Sean started their career as a Customer Service Specialist at BankMed in 2003. In 2006, they moved to Lufthansa as a Frequent Flyer Service Consultant. In 2007, they joined Allan Gray Proprietary Limited as an Allan Gray Online Specialist. In 2009, they joined ChessCube as an Operations Manager, where they held various titles such as Community Manager, Social Media Manager, and Communications Manager. Sean managed and grew the community from 800,000 members (2009) to 4 million+ members (2017). In 2016, they moved to Trixta as a Product & Community Manager. Sean is currently working as a Community Manager at Waitroom since 2021.

Sean Wyngaard has a diverse educational background. Sean attended Gardens Commercial High School from 1998 to 2002, where they studied Computer Science. In 2001, they completed a Youth Leadership Course at Toastmasters International, focusing on Public Speaking. In 2008, they attended Cape Peninsula University of Technology and completed an Introduction to Digital Photography and Adobe Photoshop course, with a focus on Photography, Digital Photography, and Adobe Photoshop. Finally, in 2016, they attended the University of Cape Town, where they earned a Web Design degree with a focus on Web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design.
