Jessica Shipley

Jessica Shipley is currently a Trainee Solicitor at Birketts LLP, having started in February 2023, and is pursuing an LLM in Legal Practice at The University of Law. Prior experience includes a role as a Store Assistant at Waitrose & Partners since July 2020, and active involvement with Aspiring Solicitors from June 2020 to September 2023, where Jessica contributed as an AS Member and AS First. At the University of Warwick, Jessica founded and led Warwick Street Law, engaged as a leader in the Women’s Project, participated in the Mooting Subcommittee, and worked as a ballet teacher, developing vital communication and interpersonal skills. Additional experiences include shadowing Judge Steven Evans at Huntingdon law courts, completing the Legal Cheek Summer Virtual Vacation Scheme, and interning with Bright Network. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Warwick and A-Level studies at St. Neots Sixth Form Centre.
