Shannon Vander Meulen

Shannon Vander Meulen has significant work experience in various roles. In 2007, they worked as a Lead Hand at Bow Valley College until 2009. Following that, they joined Bow Valley College again in 2012 as an Online Instructor, a role they held until 2014. In 2014, Shannon became the President of East Calgary Registry, a position they will continue to hold until 2023. Most recently, in 2020, they co-founded WaitWell and took on the role of Co-Founder and CMO.

Shannon Vander Meulen obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. High Honours) degree in English and Canadian Studies from Carleton University from 1991 to 1995. Shannon then pursued further education at the University of Calgary, where they earned a Graduate Diploma in Education from 1995 to 1996. In addition to their academic degrees, Shannon has also obtained certifications such as CORES Level 1 from the Government of Alberta in September 2015 and Basic Registries Certification from the Government of Alberta in July 2014.
