Leslie Hurry joined Waiward in 2004 and holds the role of Senior Manager, Fabrication Projects. Leslie is actively engaged in all aspects of projects from receipt of customer inquiries to project closeouts, focusing on meeting or exceeding the requirements and expectations of the customers and the company.

As a Senior Manager, Leslie provides proposal and execution oversight of projects with respect to commercial and technical items, resource planning, and the mentorship of the team members.

Leslie has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta and has completed various industry-related courses such as CII Best Practices, HSE Leadership Development, Indigenous Canada, Project Leadership Program, Prime Contractor, CSTS, WHMIS, and Workface Planning.

Won 1992 CISC Award for most effect and complex use of structural steel on the Edmonton City Hall project. Won 1999 StruCad Detailing award for most complex overall design for North America.
