David G. Smith

David G. Smith is a retired CEO of Keyera, where they held various executive roles from 2015 to 2020, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. They served on the advisory board of BluMaple Capital Partners from 2021 to 2024 and actively contributed to the United Way of Calgary and Area as Chair of the Revenue Generation Committee and a board member. From 2015 to 2022, they chaired the Board of Directors at Arts Commons and held a board membership at Crew Energy Inc. until 2021. Currently, they serve on the boards of Advantage Energy Ltd. and Wajax while pursuing a Bachelor of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
