Alexus McKoy

Alexus McKoy is a dedicated school psychologist currently employed by Wake County Public School System since August 2025. Prior to this role, Alexus worked with Cumberland County Schools where 70+ cognitive and social-emotional assessments were conducted and individualized intervention plans were developed in collaboration with educators, families, and service providers. As a school psychologist intern at Carolina Psychological Health Services, responsibilities included administering and scoring assessments for clients with medical and psychiatric difficulties. Furthermore, Alexus completed a practicum with Richmond Public Schools, gained research experience as a graduate assistant at William & Mary, and contributed as a logistics coordinator for the ALI-Youth Media Symposium. Academic achievements include an Education Specialist Degree in School Psychology and a Master of Education from William & Mary, along with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Morgan State University.
