Anne Waechter

Anne Waechter has over two decades of experience in education, currently serving as Principal for Wake County Public School System since March 2011. Prior roles within the same district include Assistant Principal, Magnet School Coordinator, and Positive Behavior Intervention Support Coach. Previously, Anne worked at Tigard-Tualatin School District as an Instructional Coordinator, where responsibilities included managing data for reading interventions and overseeing literacy testing. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Principal and Teacher at Alief ISD, where Anne was involved in employee supervision, master scheduling, and mentoring new teachers. Anne holds a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from Buffalo State University and a Masters of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston-Victoria.
