Linda Jenkins

Linda Jenkins is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in the Wake County Public School System. Since August 2015, Linda has served as a Senior Administrator and Behavior Specialist, providing crucial support to 35 Behavior and Autism support teachers for grades 6–12, while fostering positive relationships between parents and school staff for special education students. Prior to this, Linda worked as an Administrative Intern, collaborating with stakeholders to develop schoolwide conduct descriptors and leading a project that placed over 1,600 decodable books in the homes of more than 400 students. From August 2009 to July 2015, Linda was an English Language Arts Teacher and served in multiple leadership roles at River Oaks Middle School, where individualized reading interventions were deployed to support student success. Educational qualifications include a Master of School Administration from East Carolina University, a Master of Education in Literacy from Meredith College, and a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Special Education and middle school education from Lesley College.
