Lori Mathews

Lori Mathews is an experienced Professional School Counselor at Wake County Public School System since July 2008, providing counseling services to students through various therapeutic techniques and offering crisis intervention and support. Prior to this role, Lori served as a Human Resources Assistant at Skyline Personnel, where responsibilities included coordinating hiring activities and assisting with onboarding. Previous experience includes roles as an Assessment Specialist and Crisis Counselor at Parkridge Valley Behavioral Hospital, and as a Clinical Therapist at Psychiatric Partners / Progressions, where counseling and assessment services were provided. Lori holds a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
