Sonja McKay

Sonja McKay currently serves as a Teacher at the Wake County Public School System, beginning in September 2024. Previously, Sonja worked as a Project Manager at Laut Design from October 2021 to September 2024 and held the position of AIG Teacher at Wake County Public School System from December 2019 to October 2021. Prior experience includes teaching roles at The Exploris School from July 2004 to December 2019 and John R. Kernodle Middle School from August 2000 to June 2004. Sonja McKay holds a Master of Education in Mathematics Teacher Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2003-2006) and a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Mathematics and Science Education from Appalachian State University (1996-2000).
