Zachary Grant Bess

Zachary Grant Bess is an experienced educator currently serving as a 7th Grade Social Studies and English Language Arts Teacher at Wake Young Women's Leadership Academy within the Wake County Public School System since July 2021. Additionally, Zachary has been a Debate Coach for Dipont Education since January 2021, providing online tutoring in Public Forum Debate styles to high school students. Previous roles include serving as a Covid-19 Clerk for Southwest Utah Public Health Department and a Student Teacher in the Washington County School District, where instruction focused on Honors English 10 and World Civilizations. Zachary also interned at Freemyer & Associates, PC, conducting research on land use and environmental policy matters. Zachary holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in History Teaching and English Teaching from Utah State University, earned between 2011 and 2020.
