Chris Koester

Chris Koester is a seasoned Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently employed at Wake County since January 2023. Prior to this role, Chris accumulated extensive experience in mental health counseling through positions at the Homeless Empowerment Program and the Pinellas Ex Offender Re Entry Coalition Inc from May 2018 to February 2023. Chris also served as a Mental Health Counselor at the Office of the Public Defender in the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida from April 2015 to April 2018. Chris holds a Bachelor's of Social Work and a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from the University of South Florida, where education was completed between 2011 and 2015.
