Dakota Moore

Dakota Moore, GISP, currently serves as a Senior GIS Analyst at Wake County since March 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Engineering Stormwater Analyst for New Hanover County from December 2021 to February 2023 and serving as a GIS Specialist at both Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (March 2020 - December 2021) and Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority (November 2017 - February 2020). Earlier roles include GIS Intern positions at MONTGOMERY BOTANICAL CENTER and Greenville Utilities, and a Research Student position with North Carolina- Coastal Research for Undergraduates (NC-CRUS). Dakota holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Geography from East Carolina University and an Associate of Science from Cape Fear Community College.
