Deantony Collins

DeAntony Collins has a diverse professional background in education, public service, and graphic design. Currently serving as an EBS Educator in the Special Education Program for the Wake County Public School System since December 2022, DeAntony Collins also holds a position on the Board of Adjustment for Wake County, addressing zoning appeals and variances since March 2017. As a freelance graphic designer and marketing consultant since 2013, DeAntony operates a custom craft shop offering various personalized items. Previous experience includes the Center Leadership Team at Bright Horizons Family Solutions from 2006 to 2020, where responsibilities ranged from maintaining confidential information to social media management. DeAntony also contributed to the Wake County Democratic Party in various leadership roles and briefly ran for Raleigh City Council in 2015. Educational qualifications include a degree from Shaw University and a diploma from Southwest DeKalb High School.
