Jennifer Jones

Jennifer Jones has over two decades of legal experience, primarily in employment law and workers' compensation. Since September 2011, Jennifer has held various positions at Wake County, currently serving as Senior Deputy County Attorney, with prior roles that include Deputy County Attorney and Senior Assistant County Attorney. Previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Attorney General at NC DOJ, where representation focused on workers' compensation claims for the Department of Public Instruction, and as an Associate Attorney at Brooks Stevens and Pope, specializing in workers' compensation defense. Jennifer's skills were further developed through a Legal & Legislative Intern position at the NC League of Municipalities. Educational qualifications include a JD from Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, a Certificate in Municipal and County Administration from the UNC School of Government, and a B.A. from Peace College.
