Kevin Witchger

Kevin Witchger, P.E., C.E.M. has extensive experience in energy engineering and facility management. Currently serving as Facility Engineer and Energy Manager for Wake County since December 2015, Kevin previously held the position of Energy Engineer at NC Clean Energy Technology Center from October 2007 to November 2015, where responsibilities included conducting feasibility studies on various energy systems and developing energy models for commercial buildings. Earlier positions included a role as Lab Technician, where Kevin was involved in solar thermal testing and renewable energy studies, and a co-op at GE Aviation that focused on efficiency improvements in engine production. Kevin holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
