Nikita Boyd Spears

Nikita Boyd Spears has extensive experience in public health education and program coordination, with roles including Health Education and Outreach Supervisor at Wake County Human Services since May 2019, and previously serving as the NC DHHS Comprehensive Cancer Program Coordinator from April 2016 to May 2019. Nikita worked as a Public Health Educator II in the NC DPHHS Division of Public Health/Immunization Branch, where responsibilities included planning immunization health education initiatives. Experience also includes adjunct professorship in Bio Safety Health at Johnston Community College and various public health educator positions focusing on youth development, community health campaigns, and health education program management. Nikita holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Strayer University and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Education from North Carolina Central University.
