Nikki McIntyre

Nikki McIntyre is an experienced professional with a diverse background in housing and education. Currently serving as a Housing Lead Specialist at Wake County since March 2016, Nikki provides technical assistance and responses to inquiries related to the building permit process while supporting public and staff interactions. Past roles include serving as Mass Care Branch Director and Placement Coordinator at Wake County Public Health, where responsibilities included client intake and managing site operations during COVID-19. Previous experience also comprises various teaching positions within the Wake County Public School System, where Nikki supported students with diverse needs and classroom management. Nikki has also held administrative and coordination roles in the construction sector, gaining expertise in project management and client communication. Nikki holds two Associate degrees in Applied Science from Wake Technical Community College, one in Mechanical Engineering and the other in Architectural Technology.
