Sandra Oliver

Sandra Oliver, CGCIO, currently serves as the Deputy Chief Information Officer for Wake County, where leadership and direction are provided to enhance departmental growth and improve organizational efficiency in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. With extensive experience in IT service management, Sandra previously held the position of Technology Services Officer at the City of Charlotte, overseeing IT service portfolios and ensuring high client satisfaction. In earlier roles, Sandra contributed significantly to Mecklenburg County Government as a Senior IT Manager, where management of key systems and vendor relationships was achieved. Sandra’s career began as a Senior Applications Programmer/Analyst at Celanese, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Queens University of Charlotte and an MBA with a focus on MIS and Healthcare Management.
