Sheila Donaldson

Sheila Donaldson is an accomplished professional in child welfare and mental health, currently serving as the Director of Child Welfare at Wake County since February 2022, while also holding the position of Co Interim Division Director. With extensive experience at Wake County Department of Human Services as Assistant Division Director, Sheila has been instrumental in developing strategies and improving departmental performance. Previous roles include Program Manager for the Foster Care and Adoption Resource and Support Program at Fairfax County Government, as well as positions focusing on child protective services and mental health evaluation and therapy. Sheila's background also includes significant experience in the real estate sector as Principal Owner of CENTURY 21 New Millennium. Sheila holds a MA in Psychology from Marymount University and a BA from George Mason University.
