Rachael Benedict

Rachael Benedict is an experienced Public Relations Specialist with a robust background in communication and community engagement. Since August 2018, Rachael has been with Wake Electric Membership Corporation, focusing on developing member newsletters and managing various communication projects. Concurrently, Rachael has been with Piedmont Electric Membership Corporation since January 2012, facilitating information flow between the cooperative and its stakeholders. Previous roles include managing social media for the Chapel Hill Orange County Visitors Bureau and supporting event planning at the Hillsborough/Orange County Chamber of Commerce. Rachael holds a BA in Political Science, Geography, and Public Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
