Caroline Welchman

Caroline Welchman is an M.D. candidate at Wake Forest School of Medicine, with extensive experience in clinical research and patient care. As a Clinical Research Coordinator at Wake Forest Baptist Health, Caroline managed various industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials across multiple medical departments. Caroline's early career included roles as an EMT-Basic at LifeStar Emergency Medical Services and as a Group Fitness Instructor at the YMCA. Additionally, Caroline participated in the Davidson in Kenya program, gaining hands-on experience at Nazareth Hospital. Caroline holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Davidson College.
