Iltifat Husain M.D.

Iltifat Husain MD is a Co-Director of the Emergency Care Virtual Visit program and an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where responsibilities include medical student and residency education, as well as research in medical informatics and clinical decision support tools. With extensive experience in emergency medicine, Iltifat Husain previously served as an Assistant Professor and resident physician. As the founder of IMPATHIQ, a health informatics company, Iltifat focuses on developing evidence-based algorithms for electronic medical records to enhance clinical decision-making. Additionally, Iltifat serves as the founder and editor-in-chief of iMedicalApps LLC, providing insights into medical technology while also engaging in speaking engagements on the future of health informatics.
