Tara Jones

Tara Jones is a Research Laboratory Manager at Wake Forest Baptist Health since March 2011, responsible for determining fiscal requirements, preparing budgetary worksheets, and monitoring laboratory operations. Previously, as a Molecular Genetics Core Manager, Tara assisted the Institute for Regenerative Medicine with research development and training researchers on various genetic analysis equipment. Prior experience includes roles as Lab Researcher IV at National Jewish Health, focusing on lung epithelial cells for cystic fibrosis studies, and as a Research Technician at Rockefeller University and Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, where Tara worked on nuclear extractions, protein purifications, cell culture maintenance, and live cell imaging. Tara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Oklahoma State University.
