Mark A. Petersen

Mark A. Petersen is currently the Vice President for University Advancement at Wake Forest University. Mark previously worked at Southern Methodist University from June 2005 to June 2008 as the Associate Vice President for Development and Alumni Affairs. Mark has over 25 years of experience in higher education fundraising, marketing, and communications.

Mark A. Petersen has a MA from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Southern California and a BA in American Studies from Brandeis University.

They are on a team with Michele Gillespie - Provost, Julie Ann Freischlag - Dean, WFU School of Medicine, and Shea Kidd Brown - Vice President for Campus Life. Their manager is Susan R. Wente, President.
