Richard Cole

Richard Cole is the owner of Ace Home Check, a NC licensed home inspection business, since January 2023. Concurrently, Richard serves as the head coach for rowing at Wake Forest University and coaches youth and master's rowing at the North Carolina Rowing Center, roles held since 2019. Previously, Richard held positions in rowing coaching at High Point University and engineering-related roles, including staff engineer at Multiwall Packaging Corp and business development at ABCO Automation. Richard's extensive engineering experience also includes significant roles at ConvaTec, where Richard worked from 1992 to 2011, achieving titles such as Associate Director of Global Engineering and Associate Director of Process Development. Richard began a career in engineering as a plant engineer at Energizer from 1987 to 1992. Richard holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
