Shannon Badgett

Shannon Badgett has over two decades of experience in financial management within higher education and corporate sectors. Since August 2007, Shannon has held multiple leadership roles at Wake Forest University, including Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations and Associate Vice President for Budget and Financial Planning, where responsibilities have included providing innovative financial solutions, advising on budget sustainability, and overseeing the annual budget process. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Financial Analyst at Hanesbrands Inc., focusing on the development of operating plans, analysis of SG&A expenses, and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. Shannon holds an MBA from Appalachian State University and a BS in Management from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
