David Sweeney is the Web Manager at Wake Technical Community College. Prior to that, they worked as the Assistant Director of Admissions at William Peace University from October 2011 to July 2019, where they were responsible for successful growth from Counselor to Senior Counselor to Interim Director to Assistant Director of Admissions. David also led Admissions Office as Interim Director for a recruitment cycle and developed new formats to open house events and accepted student events. David has also lead multiple design projects, creating materials for students to take away, view, and work with.
From April 2011 to September 2011, David worked as the Government & Municipalities Lead Generation & Marketing at Blackboard Connect. In this role, they were responsible for generating leads and marketing Blackboard Connect's government and municipality products and services.
David Sweeney's educational career began at St. Andrews University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Theatre Arts. David then attended Narragansett Sr. High, where they furthered their education.
