Summer Dean

Summer Dean has a diverse range of work experience in the creative industry. Summer began their career in 2013 as an Event Photographer and Video Producer at the University of Sussex, where they captured photos and produced videos for various events and projects. Summer also worked as a Student Experience Enhancement Project Assistant, engaging with students and organizing events.

In 2014, Summer became a Video Content Producer at Hotter Shoes, creating social media and YouTube content. Summer later joined Bearded Kitten as a Stage Manager and Compere, and worked as an Assistant Producer and Camera Operator for the Inside the Tanks Documentary.

Starting in 2015, Summer took on freelance roles as a Photographer and Video Producer, working for their own brand SUMMERDEAN.COM. Summer also served as a Photographer for the University of Sussex Alumni Network, documenting graduation and panel events.

From 2015 to 2022, Summer worked at Brighton Dome and Festival, taking on the roles of Video Producer, Photographer, and Live Stream Coordinator. Their responsibilities included producing content for social media platforms, creating audience reaction videos, and capturing event photography.

In 2017, Summer joined Brighton Dome Conference & Events as a Photo, Video, Online & Social Media Producer, where they managed the production of visual content.

Most recently, in 2022, Summer became a Creative Producer at Wake The Tiger, utilizing their creative skills in producing content.

Summer Dean attended Southport College from 2008 to 2010, where they earned a Btec degree in Interactive Media. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Sussex from 2011 to 2014, where they received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Practice & Theory.
