Hank Woods

Hank Woods is an experienced leader in development and fundraising, currently serving as Vice President of the Foundation at WakeMed since June 2024. Prior to this role, Hank was the Chief Partnerships and Development Officer at The HOW Institute for Society from May 2023 to June 2024. From August 2013 to May 2023, Hank held the position of Associate Dean for Development and Alumni Relations at the Fuqua School of Business, where oversight included raising over $20 million annually and managing a staff of 25. Hank also contributed to Duke University as Assistant Vice President of Annual Giving from October 2000 to August 2013, directing a team of 25 and managing a $2 million budget while consistently raising more than $30 million annually across multiple schools and units. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from Davidson College and a Master of Arts in Sports Administration from the University of Richmond.
