Laura Helen Murray

Laura Helen Murray, PT, DPT, serves as an IS Project Manager and Physical Therapist-Clinical Specialist at WakeMed since September 2014, focusing on optimizing care for patients with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and complex neurological diagnoses through multi-disciplinary collaboration and performance improvement initiatives. Laura holds multiple leadership roles, including Chair of the Acute Spinal Cord Injury Committee, Acute Brain Injury Committee, and Complex Neuro Pathway Development Committee. Prior to WakeMed, Laura worked as a Physical Therapist at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital from September 2011 to August 2014, where plans of care were developed and treatments executed for a range of acute medical and neurological conditions. Laura earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Psychology degree from North Carolina State University.
