Wail Alahmed

Wail Alahmed currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Walaa Cooperative Insurance Co. since November 2023. Prior to this role, Wail held various positions at Al Rajhi Takaful, including Chief General Officer from January 2023 to October 2023, and at stc from July 2018 to January 2023 as the Insurance Management Director, among other titles. Responsibilities at stc included leading insurance activities, establishing the Insurance Department, and assessing risk exposure across subsidiaries. Previous experience includes roles at SABIC, where Wail served as Head of SABIC Captive, and Insurance Analyst, and as Insurance Manager at ACWA Power. Wail holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and a minor in Economics from Southern Methodist University, along with a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
